LEAP Application Terms and Conditions 
 

1. Eligibility 

  • Applicants must own or operate a business that qualifies as underserved or socioeconomically disadvantaged. 

  • Only one application per business owner will be considered. If multiple applications are submitted for different businesses, only the first will be reviewed. 

  • Prior LEAP recipients are not eligible. Previous applicants who were not selected may reapply. 
     

2. Accuracy of Information 

  • All information provided must be true, complete, and accurate to the best of the applicant’s knowledge. 

  • Misrepresentation may result in disqualification from current and future consideration. 
     

3. Selection Process 

  • McNees will evaluate applications based on internal selection criteria and available program capacity. 

  • Submission does not guarantee selection or the provision of services. 
     

4. Scope and Limitations of Services 

  • Selected LEAP awardees will receive legal services for up to one year or until the value of services reaches $30,000, whichever comes first. 

  • The specific nature and scope of services will be determined by McNees based on the needs of the awardee and firm capacity. 

  • Services are limited to those expressly agreed upon and do not establish an ongoing attorney-client relationship beyond the defined engagement. 
     

5. Confidentiality 

  • Information submitted through the application will be treated as confidential and used solely for evaluation and administration of the program. 
     

6. Program Modifications 

  • McNees reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the LEAP program, including these terms, at any time without notice. 

  • These terms and conditions are not exhaustive. Additional terms and conditions may apply to the LEAP award and related services, as determined by McNees. 
     

7. Acceptance 

  • By submitting an application, applicants acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
